Full service bar, restaurant and arcade established during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Partnered with owner to clarify and articulate vision and brand identity, developing and implementing long-term business plan and opening strategies centered around the gaming community. Provided 6-months of supplementary operational support, while navigating and adapting to the ever changing dynamics of the pandemic.

Partnered with owner in overseeing and coordinating opening stages of development, including bar remodel
Assisted in developing business plan, clarifying brand vision, and opening strategies
Advised on contracts and bid negotiations; implementing budget and financial projections

Change Management

Prolonged financial resources, monitoring and adapting opening strategies with COVID restrictions
Worked closely with opening team to devise & implement new means and creative opportunities to navigate rapidly changing COVID guidelines

Operational Organization & Management

Oversaw front and backend operations, formalizing policies and establishing standard operating procedures
Managed finances, preparing and presenting weekly financial reports
Responsible for ensuring compliance with all NYS, Federal and COVID regulations

Three Lives, L I V E!

In November of 2020, after being open for just over 2-months, we were forced to shut down when the “second wave of COVID” hit. As a newly established business we were unable to rely on take-out orders alone to maintain operations during Shut Down, so instead of “closing shop” and “waiting out the storm,” we went live!

From mid-November through December we streamed live from the bar 4-5 days a week; sharing our journey, promoting the business, live stream gaming with our patrons, and hosting segments such as The Weekly Challenge & Newbie Gamer-girl.
